Youth Ministry at Greater Deliverance Church

To empower, equip, and inspire young people through our Christ-centered youth ministry, we focus on helping them grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, discover their God-given purpose, develop strong Christian character, and confidently live out their faith. Our spiritual growth programs and youth leadership development initiatives play a crucial role in this transformative journey.

My name is Jodi-Kaye Watson, and I am honored to serve as the Director of Youth Ministries. Our mission is to empower, equip, and inspire young people through our Christ-centered youth ministry to grow spiritually, discover their God-given gifts, and develop strong Christian character as they walk in God's purpose for their lives.

I also extend heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated leadership team—Ebony Morrison (President), Melissa Lewis (Vice President), Jeannel Dolcy (Secretary), and Matthew McKoy (Treasurer)—as well as everyone who has faithfully served in this ministry over the years.

About TIP Youth Ministry

The Together in Purpose (TIP) Youth Ministry meets bi-weekly on Friday evenings at 7:30 PM. Our gatherings provide a welcoming, Christ-centered environment where young people can engage in spiritual growth programs, build meaningful friendships, and discover God's purpose for their lives.

At TIP, faith and fun go hand in hand! Through various activities, including Bible study, prayer, worship, and discipleship, we encourage our youth to cultivate a strong relationship with Christ. Throughout the year, we also enjoy sporting events, amusement park trips, weekend retreats, community service projects, game nights, and fellowship outings that strengthen friendships and create lasting memories.

Youth Sundays

We celebrate Youth Sunday on the first Sunday of every other month, where our young people take an active role in the service through preaching, worship leading, dance, mime, poetry, creative arts, Scripture reading, and prayer. These opportunities foster youth leadership development while helping them discover and develop their spiritual gifts, grow in confidence, and cultivate a heart for serving God.
